Oh Praise you God my Father and in creator of all the earth. I thank you and worship you for all that I am given and blessed with. I thank you for one of your most beautiful days ever. For you son I am truly grateful. Today I am whole in you and praise you for all that you are to me. In your son’s most holy name, Jesus, I pray that everyone is as blessed as I am and as thankful to you.
It truly is an absolutely georgeous day. The temps have been in the mid 60’s, the sun is shinny and there is a light breeze in the air. It was such a nice night that I even slept better than I have in ages. I even looked forward to going out this afternoon for my doctor’s appointment. That along with stopping by to see Emily and getting a few groceries I was just delighted to be out of the house. Truly just one of those days you would love to put in a bottle and pull out all the time instead of dealing with the extreme heat or cold. My doctor’s appointment went well. He made some medication changes in hopes of helping with my abdominal discomfort. I am still having some, but it’s not bad at all. I am also resolve to make some changes in my diet which will bring in more fiber. That should help a lot. I hope to see some good changes in the coming months.
Today is a special day for rememberance. 9-11. So much is being done on TV about it too. I was home that day and watched it all on the TV and I remembering tears coming in disbelief when the second plane crashed into the tower. How could it be happening? I am sure many felt the very same, but happen it did. From the hitting of the towers, pentagon and the heroic deeds of the passengers of flight 93 I hope we never forget. As a baby boomer I am the product of a country that just saw a big win in our part of WW II, a time or true prosperity in our country. Growing up almost innocent my whole life of what hardship is even about. There was evil in the world with the drugs, Korea going on, Vietnam and so much more, but I always felt safe. 9-11 showed America that she is not completely safe and just as venerable as anyone in the world. It can and I believe will happen more in the future. That is just my personal opinion. I feel there are many in this country that don’t feel the threat and see that the very freedom we enjoy is being attacked in a big way. We are being attacked also from within. It was said and again I agree personally that we are our own worst enemy.
The freedom that this country was based upon is being distorted grossly and will cause the demise of our Country if people do not wake up and see what is going on is due to our ownselves and not because of what is going on elsewhere. What are the answers? I wish I knew. To many differences of opinion and plans without true understand and compromise are a big problem. Blindness to the difference’s are a barrier too. All I can do is pray that God will watch over me and protect me and if the need arises that I have to die for my beliefs that I will face it with strength and courage. No I don’t ever want to forget 9-11. I want to use it to help me remember that there is evil in this world that wants to destroy me and my way of life. That it wants to rob me of the very freedom that I was born into. To continue to tell other’s that God is what is needed, The God of love for all mankind, not one that wants death in anyway shape or form. God is truly needed in America, without him the country will be lost.
Till next time remember this too.
You are here to enrich the world…

Hi Nancze, What more can I add? You said it all and said it all. I will never forget 9/11. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news. Glad to hear you medical appointment went well and I hope that the new meds will and changes in your diet will help. *hugs*
Hi Nancze Sue!
I’m so glad that you are feeling better now.
Today was a beautiful day for sure.
When I took Justin to school this morning, I got a little chilly.
I love it when the crisp air comes, it makes me sleep better too.
I’m hoping we have a nice, long comfortable fall season.
Enjoy your Wednesday!
((Hugs))
Good morning.
Pausing to pray for your physical health.
I would have to agree that many Americans take their freedom for granted. 9-11 was a wake up call that evil is real and coming to a neighborhood near you. Lord help us all.
Hi, Nancze,
So glad you’re doctor visit went well. Yes, I agree, we must never forget.
Gotta run, have to go to work. Talk at you later.

Hi Nanzce!
I was reading your prayer and thinking about DS’s homework last night. He had a page on the US and what makes us “united”. We talked about the pledge and the belief in freedom of religion, speech, equal rights…
We talked of how when we say the pledge of allegience we are pledging or promising unity. But as I was reading your prayer I thought “and remembering helps keep us United!”
Blessings and hugs!
HI Nanzce what a nice post. I got our my dairy at home and read the whole book from August 11 through the end of the year of 2001 that included my entry for 9-11. My thoughts of that day made me cry. I’m glad I wrote all that down, it is good to remember, we must never forget is for sure. I hope your tummy stays better sweetie. Have a nice day! big hugs
