Today JD was off. He went by Emily’s this morning getting Preston and together they spent the day running around. He took him to the fair to walk around and then to Cliff’s to play with Madison for awhile. Last they stopped by the feed store to visit. They got here about 1pm. After eating Preston played and I could tell he was tired. I finally got him to stop long enough to rock him to sleep and he took about a 2 hour nap, along with JD. lol… He loves having the living room opened up to play in, but he still brought many of his toys to the den. We just picked them up and put them away when we left.
This evening we went over to Cliff and Valarie’s. We had BBQ hamburgers, chips, beans and cake in celebration of JD’s birthday which was on the 21st. Friday was the best day as Everyone in our side of the family could get together. I took quite a few pictures and will share them tomorrow after I get them resized and all. We had a nice visit and the kids had a blast. Valaries sister Stephanie and her little girl Mason were there too. Outside of a short nap Eli was awake most of the time. JD works till next Thursday (6 days) but will probably have next Fri., Sat. and Sunday off. Won’t know till next Friday when the schedule comes out. Emily starts her fall semester this monday and I’ll be watching Preston on Mon., Wed. and Fridays. This Fall semester and next Spring will be her last, she will finally graduate with her Bachelor’s degree! We need another big party then too.
That’s about all the chit chat for today. Watched the sentencing of Cousey for the murder of Jessica Langsford this afternoon. How that family endure sitting there and listening to all the details of each account was beyond me. I could barely stand it myself. Wasn’t much on TV today anyway. Does anyone know when the new season of Project Runway start’s. They were showing last years and I keep watching for the new season start date, but never see it. I heard that Survivor China is to start on this month on the 24th? That’s a Friday and it usually shows on a Thursday. I know I sure don’t want to miss the beginning. Being Friday it’s time for my Friday meme’s I enjoy. Then will be off to makes some visits. Have my links to add on the side bar to add yet. Probably will do that tomorrow.
