I know so many of you are worried and have so faithfully been praying for me and watching my blog for any updates. I just haven’t been feeling up to being on my computer. I don’t even have a good reason for why. I am doing great health wise. I am weak and often feel so very tired most of the time, but I am beginning to attribute that to not ever getting out of the house. The very few and rare times I have gotten out I really have felt better, although I am very tired when we get home.

Being home all day long ever day has not been all that great. I often just find myself wanting to stay in bed and sleep, although my back and body tell me that I need to get up and out of the bed. I suppose I listen (as there is nothing worth watching) to the tv a lot and even it is boring me to pieces. I believe I am probably depressed more than I want to admit. I don’t feel like blogging, as I told Emily it’s because I don’t have anything to write about. I have a lot of good books lying around to read, but don’t feel up to that much either. Today JD is off and left me the car. Here is a perfect opportunity for me to get out of the house, but where would I go? I know of no where. I feel lost, alone and just blah. I thank each of you for your love and concern and friendship. I apologize for not being a better friend to you, but you all are in my daily thoughts. Truly I often wish that any of you lived close and I could visit. I am ashamed though that I don’t visit online much. As I mentioned I just don’t feel like getting on the computer. I find myself in my chair and truly just sitting there.

I am seriously thinking of closing my blog. I am deleting my myspace, Blogger and facebook pages and may close this one. Emilly told me I just needed to blog once a week and not quit because of all my online friends. Surely in a week I could find something to write about. So that I what I plan to try and do. Then I am going to get on my computer for at least an hour a day. Maybe then I will be giving the energy and incentive to be more active again. Please continue your prayers for me. I surely need them right now.

Forgive me for not posting more often and for not getting around and visiting very many of you at a time. Sitting here at the computer is very tiring and hard on my abdomen area. It already feels very stressed. I am have not been feeling to great the past couple of days either. Finding something to eat that is easy on my digestive system has been kind of difficult and I am getting a bit tired of soup and jello. Although eating anything else I will avoid in order not to have any pain. :o)

It’s been hot and muggy here, with some rain oft and on throught out the state. We haven’t had any. JD is back to working and I just spend a lot of time in bed or reading. Over all I just feel so blah and have so little energy. As I mentioned sitting at this desk is hard to on both my back and abdomen, so I haven’t been here that much. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a number of visits in today.

Just wanted to check in and let you all know I’m still at home and continuing to heal.

Dear Friends. Reading all the post and the prayers I have recieved is such a blessing. I can’t believe I am finally able to post. As Emily mentioned I ended up having emergency surgery on saturday before memorial day. I had some encapsulated bowel due to my hernia which is life threatening. I was in surgery around 3 hours but don’t remember to much until sunday. I ended up staying in ICU for 10 days. Improvement was happening but slowly. I eventually was moved to the floor and was able to come home on thursday evening the 5th of June. I have not been in a lot of pain, but a lot of discomfort since being home. I’ve returned to both doctor’s once and all is looking good so far. I had a ton of stitches and many retention stitches I came home with, which were finally removed monday. Again the pain is minimal, but there is a lot of abdominal discomfort and I tire very quickly. I also am on continous oxygen. I found both doctor visits to be very tiring and it wore me out quickly. At home I just am taking it very slow and building up strenght.

When I got home from the hospital I found myself without internet. I have been trying since then to get the tech from my wireless broadband here, but the service has been terrible. I kept getting the run around and finally yesterday I was able to get it through to them how angry and upset I am. My tech showed up today as promised and he was as upset as me as he was never contacted till yesterday. After checking it out though it seems it’s my new computer and that the erthtnet port is not working. So my tech set up my old tower and got me connected. JD is returning my new computer tomorrow as I have a 2 year warranty and will get them to fix the problem. I am just so happy to be back online.

Emily asked forgiveness as she hasn’t been online either and not feeling to well and is sorry she didn’t put an update in awhile. I am going to close for now. Just as so happy to be able to post. I’ll be visiting everyone as I feel up to it. I have tons of emails and return blog visits to make. I so appreciate everyone’s prayers. I was nervous to have the surgery, wishing I didn’t have to go through it, but I did and I made it through for which I thank God. I was on a repirator for quite awhile and that is an experience I don’t wish on anyone. I was able to manage the pain and get around but am so grateful for the help of the wonderful hopsital staff. I certainly pray that I don’t have to have anything such as this ever again.
