Hi and welcome to my blog, an online Journal I keep where I have met many wonderful and life long friends. I have been online since 1998 and love it very much. Life has changed a lot for me over the past 10 years. I had my own domain and website for 7 wonderful years, but health and other things have caused me to give it up. That’s ok though, I’m not unhappy. It’s been a wonderful ride. The past couple of years I have mostly just been journaling and I had let my site get sadly neglected with no updating at all. So it was time to move on. I will always journal though. Being online has been a big part of my life and my only source of socializing. My health is not that great and I am staying home now. I was an LPN until January of this year, in which I retired. I had hoped to continue working part time, but they let me go in March. So that is where I am at right now. I am home all the time now, but I do have plenty to keep me busy. There is my family, my hubby JD, my son Cliff (28) and his wife Valarie and their two precious children Madison Faith (2yrs 7 mos) and Eli Franklin (3 mos), my daughter Emily, or Em, her husband Michael and their son Preston Wyatt (2yrs 4mos). Course my grandchildren are the light of my life. Listed below are my 101 things so that should help you get to know me better.
101 Things you may or may not want to know about me
1. God comes first in my Life, then my husband and my children
2. I am overweight, but have learn to live with it
3. I like myself most of the time
4. I have so much I have yet to learn, I never want to stop.
5. Math was always my worst subject in school
6. I love history and period piece films
7. I love to dance, danced semi-professional for a few years
9. My Children and Grand children are my joy in life
10. Some days I wonder why I get up
11. I suffer from mild depression, don’t we all in today’s world?
12. I like to travel, have been in every state west of the Mississippi river and many east.
13. I dream of traveling overseas someday
14. I want to be a size 16 again
15. I took French in high school and wish I had studied it more
16. I would like to be bi-lingual
17. Nursing was my profession, I’m retired now
18. I love the elderly, but hate growing older at times.
19. I wish I could write
20. I would like to write a book someday.

27. I am just a speck in the bigger things of this life but hope my life accomplishes something
28. God whispers to me often. I love to hear from him.
29. I love music, all kinds. Christian Praise is my favorite
30. I can read music enough to play my organ and piano.
31. I use to sing, but can’t anymore, I have no range
32. I drive a black Jeep, wanted Cherry red 
33. I have terrible sinus allergies, ragweed, cottonwood trees, mold, etc.
34. I have nothing left from my childhood, just wonderful memories
35. I love sports but did not excel in anything
36. I watch football because my son adores it. but I don’t understand it.
37. I love to play cards, rummy is my game
38. I’m very competitive, I love to win
39. I love needlework, especially counted cross stitching and crochet.
40. I want to own a really good digital camera one day.
41. I hate to cook
42. Eating out, those are my favorite meals
43. I love Italian food, mostly any pastas
44. Olive Garden is my favorite resturant
45. I love to go for drives in the evening.
46. I love the water, swimming, skiing, etc.
47. My dream is to own a pontoon boat one day.
48. I would love to live next to the water, a lake, river or the ocean.
49. I love a scenic view
50. I want to see the Alps of Switzerland in person
51. I love the mountains, but hate being cold.
52. This is harder than one thinks to complete
53. I love all animals, but horses and tigers are my favorite.
54. I have a doxie, P.L. who owns me, and 3 outside dogs.
54. I had a bird, but hated the mess of the seed hulls.
55. I’m a product of the 60’s, I loved the Beach Boys, Surfing, the Beatles, Paul was my favorite.
56. I love the older TV shows, Andy Griffith, Gunsmoke, Rockford Files, I watch TVland a lot on satellite
57. I’ve never tried or done drugs.
58. I have drank and still do on rare occassions, my favorite is Strawberry Daquiris
59. I quit smoking, started back and trying again, but the habit is very hard to break.
60. I’ve been a nightowl all my life
61. I like a rain, but dislike the mess a rain brings.
62. I wish I were 20 again and know what I know now. Don’t we all, *smiles*
63. Today is that beginning of a new start.

70. I love movies, mostly what other’s call “Chick Flicks”

73. I wear trifocals and worry about losing my vision at times
74. I color my hair, I have a lot of grey
75. My eyes were blue, but now they’re a grey
76. I rub my eyes to much, they always itch
77. I’m alway honest, but know how to be tactful. i hope.
78. I wish I could be there for everyone I know and love. but know I can’t always be.
79. Sadly I don’t manage money very well.
80. To date I’ve met 6 online friends and hope to meet more.
81. I blessed as my son and daughter live close. I hate long distances between family.
82. I know about long separations and I dislike them intensely.
83. I am a middle child, sandwiched between two brothers
84. I grew up in Kansas City Missouri
85. Returned in 2006, after a 30+ year absence, it was a culture shock. I did remember a lot.
86. I am a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan
87. I love being online. It’s my social life.
88. I would still love to take classes and be a computer nerd.
89. I would love to be able to draw with my mouse, computer that is, hehe.
90. Some of my favorite memories are my trips to California in the 60’s.
91. I liked the disco era. The music is so great to dance to.
92. My Dad and Mom were the best dancers in the world. I loved dancing with my dad.
93. I know what the jitterbug is and can do it.
94. My hubby and I took disco lessons. he flunked and I laughed a lot
95. My favorites are Gospel, Praise and Worship music to listen to.
96. I want to visit 4 friends in Tennessee.
97. I have a strong Faith and belief in God, I’m Baptist by choice
98. I hate sin, but love the Sinners, I sin often. I am not perfect, but forgive by grace
99. I respect others opinions and beliefs, but am not tolerant of evil
100. I live with chronic pain, you just learn to deal with it.
