Photobucket I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Mine was nice. Cliff called and I’ll see him this week. Then Emily, Michael and Preston came out for a bit. We went out to eat after JD got off work and with a bit of daylight left we stopped by a really nice kid’s play park built by the city and with lots of donations. It’s really a cool playground. I’ll have to remember my camera when we go again. Preston played till it was time to go. Getting home I’d be recording the shows I didn’t want to miss. I did watch the final reunion hour of Suvivor and will watch the rest today. After JD went to bed I then watched the Extreme Makeover - Home edition, which was very good as always. Then I watched and recorded the second episode of “Cranford” It was nice to be able to go out and still not miss the shows I wanted to see. I even recorded JD’s tractor show so he could watch it when we got home. *smiles*

Today begins another week. Where does time fly? So much tragedy in the news. That earthquake in China was so bad, plus the valcano which errupted in Peru, what an amazing site! Then we had some tornado’s in northeaster Oklahoma which were bad. One little town, which we have traveled through, Pincher, was totally wiped out. It was dying anyway due to lead exposure so not much was there. What was sad is that last I heard 4 lives were lost. Listening to the weather they mentioned that this was a very unusual tornado season, not so much in the number’s but where they were hitting. They’ve really hit some large populated areas. That is so true. Mostly tornado’s have gone through less populated areas and not so much damage or lives were lost. And now look, like even that valcano which came alive after being dormant for I believe they said 9,000 years! That to me is so awesome. What else does the Earth have in store for us all?

I just got an email telling me also that Dottie Rambo was killed in a bus accident on way to a performance! I’ve known for a long time that she truly suffered with a lot of pain, but with God’s grace she still kept writing those wonderful songs and performed. She will be missed by the Christian community, her family, loved ones, friends and all her fans. I love Christian Gospel music and have enjoyed having the Gospel Channel on directv. There I can enjoy some really God inspired music.

I was playing Bingo at facebook while working on this post and won 3 times. That is so rare for me. lol.. Maybe my bingo luck has changed a bit. Not much else to chatter about. I saw a comment come through from my friend Debbie, who hasn’t posted in quite a while. It’s great to see her back. My friend Herb came up with my 5 N word sentence for friday’s feast for me. “Nice Nancze Never Needs Needling.” *smiles* Thanks Herb, always love seeing you visit! Till next time….

They are all in the lily-bed
cuddled close together–
Purple, yellow-cap,
and baby blue;
How they ever got there you
must ask the April weather,
The morning and the
evening winds, the sunshine
and the dew.
