Friday’s doings.
I have had a rather blah day. It’s cool out with a strong wind, not anything like yesterday. My aches and pains always seem to be worse when it’s cold. Late this afternoon I finally took some pain medication and have felt much better this evening. JD was off today, but work the entire day at the feed store. I didn’t really do much, watched some tv, but mostly it was borning. i hurt so much I only did what was needed to be done. I hope tomorrow is a better day.
Being Friday I’ll do my favorite Meme’s of the week and my Saturday special since Toni has been posting them early for those who want to post on fridays.
1. Where would you most like to travel? What attracts you to that destination? What would you do while you were there? Links welcome! -Every since I was a little girl I’ve a love of the mountains. Although growing old I knew I wouldn’t really enjoy living there during the cold winter months. lol, but I have always has a special place in my heart for the Alp’s of Switzerland. They are so magnificent and I was always drawn to the fact that many people like The Trapp family from the “Sound of Music” had to cross them to freedom. What a hike that had to have been.
2. What are the top 5 places in the world you would like to travel to? -Jerusalem, England, Switzerland, Ireland, New Zeland.
3. There are all kinds of spiritually important places around the world like the Vatican, Mecca, etc. What spiritual location would you choose to travel to? -Jerusalem to see the place where my Lord and Savior traveled and taught, where he was crucified, buried in that he rose from the tomb. My prayer is that it would be similar to those times and not just a tourist thing. It would mean so much more too if I could savor it by myself with just a guide to show me where the places he walk and stayed were at.
4. Choices, choices! Which location would you choose and why?
Venice, Italy or Juneau, Alaska
Tokyo, Japan or Berlin, Germany
Dublin, Ireland or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Bejing, China or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Waikiki, Hawaii or Moscow, Russia
London, England or Stockholm, Sweden -They all would be places I’d like to see and visit, but I would really be more drawn to England, since I have a couple of online friends who I’d love to visit. I would love to Visit Verena-Maria and her husband. To travel to the countryside with them and here all the wonderful things she can tell you about her country and it’s culture and customs. I’d want to tape record it all to cherish over and over again.
5. Where do you most want to visit in your country, some place you have never been before? -The Far Eastern states, Maine, N.H., R.I, all along the coast so I could see and enjoy the wonderful Lighthouses along the eastern coast. I’d want to have time to go together with Connie and Toni , what fun we would have.
6. I am coming to your country. Where should I go ? -Our country has such diversity as you cross it, that it would be very hard for me to recommend something specific without knowing the visitors tastes. Every state has hundreds of places with lots of history to share. I would recommend a cross country tour. :o)

What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? -Mickey Mouse of course :o)
Soup
Pretend you are about to get a new pet. Which animal would you pick, and what would you name it? -I did get a new pet, another dauschund, red short hair, a 7 week old pup. I haven’t names him yet, He gets along very well with P.L. so far. They been play well together. I’m having a hard time dealing with the potty training. I’m not strong enough to catch him and run him outside in time. I am not sure if I’ll be able to keep up with him, but I will try and if not I’ll find it a good home. I’m just glad P.L. is not super jealous.
Salad
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy getting all dressed up for a special occasion? -Since I have trouble finding clothing that is really nice looking on me I would say about a 4. Nothing fits well and it just really makes the whole time a bit uncomfortable.
Main Course
What kind of music do you listen to while you drive? -Soft rock when I have the radio on, but most of the time I don’t. I prefer the quiet when I drive.
Dessert
When was the last time you bought a clock? And in which room did you put it? -I have bought a clock in years! We had a wood one we bought many years ago in the den. Both JD and I have mentioned we need wrist watches.

~Remembering Childhood~
1. As a child I loved to play…?: -House, dolls, roller rink, so many things!
2. As a child I wanted to grow up to be…?: -A professional Dancer
3. As a child my favorite thing to eat was…?: Mom’s Tuna Noodle Casserole and candy
4. As a child my favorite relative was…?: I had a great Aunt, my mom’s dad sister and her name was Effie, Aunt Effie and Uncle Gay took me with them everywhere. I spent week-ends there during the school years and most of the summer during break. They would buy me clothes and thing, but really didn’t over spoil me a lot. My favorite was all the trips they took me along with them. I have tons of wonderful memories still from our trips.
